A bird strike damaged the wing leading edges of a Cessna 510 Citation Mustang. The inboard and outboard leading edge sections were replaced on both wings, left and right, together with the left-hand wing tip cap.

The de-ice boots were stripped from the leading edges first, to reach the structure underneath and establish how far the damage ran.

The replacement sections were trimmed on fitting so that the leading edge profile ran true across the joints, and the left-hand tip cap was renewed to complete the wing.
