Electrical discharge in the battery bay of a Cessna 680A Citation Latitude had led to corrosion in the surrounding structure.

The corrosion was blended out, and an NDT thickness measurement was carried out afterwards: the affected area was marked out on a grid and measured point by point, recording the material thickness left across the whole repair area.

A replacement bonding angle was then fabricated in-house to match the original, fitted in the bay and secured, restoring the bonding path.
