A bird strike had damaged the wing leading edge on a Beechcraft King Air 260.

The damaged area was marked out and the affected section cut away back to sound material. An inlay was laid out around the cutout and its fastener pattern drilled, then the filler and doubler were fitted and clamped with clecos before riveting.

With the repair riveted out, Liquid Shim was applied to fair the doubler back into the leading edge profile, so the wing keeps the aerodynamic contour it was built with. The area was then primed.
