During a hangar inspection of the engine mount, mechanics found cracks and corrosion in the upper pylon skin of a Cessna 560XL Citation XLS+. Both upper pylon skins, left and right, were replaced.

The surrounding surfaces were masked and protected before work began, and the pylon opened up for access. Each replacement skin was fitted to the structure and held with clamps while the fastener pattern was matched to the existing holes, then riveted out.

Both skins were installed and primed, the pylon closed up, and the area cleaned and inspected on completion.
